2nd Biennial Conference - Beijing, 26 to 28 October 2011

The 2nd Biennial Conference will be hosted by the certified school BHI-Beijing Hospitality Institute in Beijing, China. This year, the programme and discussions will focus on the changing world of hospitality.

Every 2 years, this important meeting offers a unique opportunity to the participating schools to meet and network, learn about al other school members achievements, share new ideas and projects, liaise and establish stronger links with EHL and other members and especially expecially exchange best practices.

First Biennial Conference, 2009, Lausanne

The First Lausanne-Certified Schools Biennial Conference, held on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 October 2009 at Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, was a great success.

Delegates representing 10 countries and 10 different schools had the opportunity to meet, discuss and benchmark their respective Learning Programmes. The topics of discussion ranged from the construction of academic structures, research, pedagogy, epistemology, marketing and branding, to the quality of bubbles within the wine!

A highlight of the closing ceremony of the event was the Passing of the Ball to the Beijing Hospitality Institute in China who will be hosting the next Biennial Conference.
