Yateendra Sinh CEO at Lausanne Hospitality Consulting SA

Yateendra has been building Lausanne Hospitality Consulting since the year 2000, and has thus been at the forefront of its business strategies and client portfolio management.

During his tenure in Lausanne, he has delivered advice, coaching and trainings in diverse situations; to Clients in 50 + countries and in areas of strategy, organisational design, business planning, efficiency acceleration, sustainable business cultures, great hotel experiences and profitable dining concepts.

Prior to joining LHC, Yateendra held various operational responsabilities such as pre-opening and managing of hotels, business clubs, townships and large IT infrastructure networks. Yateendra has expertise in many facets of the hospitality industry: planning, policy-making, industry diagnostics, strategic analysis, new product & concept development, re-engineering, marketing and information technology.

He is a graduate in Economics from the Univesity of Bombay and has a three-year post-graduate Diploma in Hotels & Management.

Outside of work, Yateendra’s passion is sport- all types; ranging from Rugby, through to Javelin, Football, Iron Man contests, to name a few. In the last years though, he has spent most of his spare weekends on a Cricket pitch.

André Mack Director at Lausanne Hospitality Consulting SA

André has an extensive career in the in-flight catering industry and specialized in the areas of customer service and business process re-engineering.

He is both Director, Lausanne Hospitality Consulting, and faculty member, Ecole hoteliere de Lausanne, lecturing on project management and consulting. André facilitated seminars on product development, strategic resilience, branding and customer service strategies within the hospitality industry. The consulting mandates in operational and quality auditing of hospitality business units, re-engineering of management and operational processes, project management for hotels new builds, strategic business analysis, as well as the development of hospitality learning centers, have allowed him to touch base in New York, Sydney and many countries between these two destinations.

Andre is an alumnus of HSG (University of St. Gallen) and of Ecole hoteliere de Lausanne. He speaks French, German and English, mixing it up sometimes with the various Swiss German dialects.

Besides walking with his two children and his wife, Andre appreciates particularly good food, good wine and the unique atmosphere of a Swiss chalet with its chimney fire.

Chen Bao Director for Lausanne Hospitality Consulting China

Director of LHC China, Chen is responsible for developing and overseeing advisory and educational services.

Chen has solid knowledge and experience in the hospitality industry. He started his career in hotel operations working with the Four Seasons Hotel Group in Canada. On his return to China Chen worked as vice president of a local commercial real estate development company specialising in hotel investment and advisory services.

Chen has worked in over 30 cities conducting feasibility studies and investment due diligence for three large hotel companies with an asset portfolio of over 100 hotels. He is an expert in strategic investment advisory, operator selection, contract negotiations and operational asset management.

Additionally, Chen has extensive experience in people leadership. He has managed over 120 employees across teams responsible for day-to-day operations, leasing activities for commercial real estate projects, running luxury serviced villas, Grade A office buildings and retail space.

An alumnus of Ecole hoteliere de Lausanne (EHL), Chen is fluent in Chinese, English and French. When not at work, he likes to spend time with his twin boys and his wife. He is an admirer of Chinese art and enjoys Chinese handicrafts over a good pot of tea or a fine glass of wine.

Guanlu Feng Director for Lausanne Hospitality Consulting China

Director of LHC China, Guanlu is responsible for focusing on overall business expansion, developing a business growth strategy and building the organisational structure.

Prior to LHC Guanlu worked as director for international development with the Wyndham Hotel Group based in Shanghai. He gained extensive experience in developing full-managed and franchised hotels, as well as maintained a strong network with well-known owners in the region. With his past experience at HVS, Guanlu gained comprehensive knowledge in hospitality consulting, valuations and conducting feasibility studies for over 70 projects – including several hotels, serviced apartments, and tourism master plans. His other leading role at HVS was expanding business and driving revenue for their China office. A graduate of Ecole hoteliere de Lausanne (EHL) – class of 2007, Guanlu also possesses an associate degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from EHL. He is fluent in Chinese and English and has a practical command over the French language. When he is not working Guanlu enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is fond of travelling and is a connoisseur of gourmet food and fine wine.

Wallace Shah Director and Country Head Lausanne Hospitality Consulting India

Twenty-two years of corporate and a strong intrinsic belief that executive education must translate into achievement, led Wallace to become an entrepreneur in 2009 – customizing and delivering transferable-skills programmes to companies and institutions.

An alumnus of the Oberoi School of Hotel Management, Wallace held several executive positions in Food and Beverage, Training and Rooms Division with The Oberoi Group; returning to the School as a faculty member in 1990 to develop trainees into effective managers.

In 1992 Wallace joined American Express. From key business development and relationship management positions in India he moved to Bangladesh as the country manager for their Travel Related Services. He later took up a director position in Singapore responsible for development of the travel franchise network across Asia Pacific. In addition to his business functions, Wallace had collateral responsibility for facilitating a number of high-impact training programmes within the organisation.

Strong operational, business development and training focus along with a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the market, enables Wallace to set a foundation for sustainable growth and executive development for LHC clients.

A father of two, when he is not busy assisting people get “professionally fit”, he spends as much time as possible with his immediate and extended family.

Aman Aditya Sachdev Director Lausanne Hospitality Consulting India

Aman is a Director at the Lausanne Hospitality Consulting practice in India.

With close to twenty years of managerial, executive leadership and board level professional experience in the hospitality industry, Aman’s career in the business spans corporate business strategy development & execution, new concept & brand development, real estate development & acquisitions, project management, hotel & resort operations, business development and hospitality education. He has executed assignments across South Asia, South-East Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Prior to joining Lausanne Hospitality Consulting, Aman held the position of Senior Vice President – South Asia and South-East Asia & Executive Director – India for Rotana Hotel & Resorts.

An alumnus of Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), Switzerland, Aman graduated at the top of his Master degree class at EHL.

Ray F. Iunius Director Business Development

Prof. Dr Ray F. Iunius is the author of various academic and professional articles published by journals in the management of services, technology, and innovation. He is also the author of a number of books such as « Industrie de l’accueil », « Hôtellerie de Luxe », « La gestion des spas », “Un Hôtel, un modèle ?” in de Boeck editions and co-author of the “Lausanne Report on the future of Hospitality Industry.”

He is the founder of the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne Institute of Technology and Entrepreneurship (EHLITE), the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (INTEHL), the Students Business Projects (SBP), the EHLITE magazine, and the Chair of Innovation Paul Dubrule.

Ray earns a BSc, MS and PhD in Technical Sciences from the University of Transylvania Brasov and an MBA and PhD from the Faculty of Business and Economics (HEC) of the Lausanne University. He is currently Director of Business Development at Lausanne Hospitality Consulting, an Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne and Swiss Hotel Association company.

Wei Cheng Chen Senior Consultant at Lausanne Hospitality Consulting SA

Wei-Cheng is a Senior Consultant at Lausanne Hospitality Consulting SA. He delivers business mandates related to strategic and operational management, talent sourcing and training, and development of hospitality institutions. As such, he has assisted many international organizations in the service sector – luxury goods company, insurance and banking – in designing and delivering tailored training programmes to enhance their customer service excellence and experience. His role also involves in developing hospitality learning centres around the globe and ensure sustainable growth and competitive advantage of each institution.

Prior to LHC, he worked in the hospitality industry in Argentina and Switzerland and also collected experience in the education sector. Wei was responsible for talent sourcing for Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, recruiting young future leaders for the hospitality industry.

Wei is a life member of Clare Hall, a constituent and graduate college of the University of Cambridge where he obtained his postgraduate degree. He is also alumnus of Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, and possesses a degree in Hospitality and Restaurant Management from the Escuela Internacional de Hotelería y Turismo CENCAP in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

When he is not in the office, Wei is most probably travelling, discovering new cultures and learning new languages. He is also very fond of cooking and fine food. For this reason, you can often find Wei working out in the gym as well.

Alexia Muteke Ceppi Senior Consultant at Lausanne Hospitality Consulting SA

Alexia Muteke-Ceppi has been in the field of international and hospitality education for the past fifteen years. As a senior consultant, she focuses in Business development, training and coaching of executives within the hospitality and service industries. She has designed and delivered courses in Leadership around the world.

With Lausanne Hospitality Consulting, Alexia is a Senior Consultant, delivering executive education programmes and consulting mandates in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Kenyatta University, Kenya and an MBA, Business School Lausanne, Switzerland.

Jos Jumelet Senior Consultant at Lausanne Hospitality Consulting SA

As a Senior Consultant, his role is to further develop the Executive Education Programs. In addition, due to his extensive experience in the hospitality industry, he also supports the other clusters within LHC.

Jos is an operator at heart and has great experience in the field of hotel Management. He is result oriented with a strong focus on quality and he has specific experience in Total Quality Management. He has an eye for detail and is passionate about delivering the best possible customer service.

Prior to joining LHC, Jos had an extensive career as a General Manager at different hotels with brands from InterContinental Hotels Group. He has experience in leading owned, managed and franchised hotels. He has also gained experience in the leisure industry, which reinforces his strong knowledge of owner – operator relations. Jos has been involved in hotel selling and acquisition as well as in rebranding.

He has experience in hotel renovations, extension projects and has overseen clustering activities. Jos is an alumnus of Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne. He speaks English, French, German and his mother tongue Dutch.During his time out of the office, he enjoys being with his family at home, in the Swiss mountains or at the French Côte d’Azur where he will be motor boating and working on his barbecue skills while enjoying a good glass of wine.

Pierre Verbeke Senior Consultant at Lausanne Hospitality Consulting SA

With a passion for hotel operations, Pierre, as Senior Consultant, will add his know-how in hotel openings and project management to the experience of the team.

Pierre has an extensive career in hotel operations, pre-openings and rebrandings. He is first and foremost an operational person having managed several hotels in Belgium and having set up many pre-opening teams in different countries.

He also has gained a wealth of experience opening hotels for a large Hotel Operator in various European, North African and Eastern Europe countries. He is particularly at ease with project management and knows how to deliver the highest quality of service within the agreed timeframe.

Pierre has experience with leased, managed and franchise properties and understands the various demands from owners, investors, operators within the different projects.

Pierre is an alumnus of Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne. He speaks Dutch, French, German and English, with some notions of Spanish.

Pierre likes to spend time with his two children and his wife, he also appreciates good food, good wine and the outdoors. But above all, Pierre likes to travel and discover new people and new situations.

Olivier Verschelde Senior Consultant at Lausanne Hospitality Consulting SA

Prior to joining Lausanne Hospitality Consulting Olivier has been involved in managing a new boutique hotel & spa project near Paris as well as taking the lead in the setup of several food and beverage outlets from conceptualization to startup.

One of these being a gastronomic restaurant which received its first Michelin guide star five months after its initial opening.

Olivier graduated from the Ecole Hotelière Lausanne in 2003 and has been building up his knowledge of operations in hospitality industry ever since. He confirmed his expertise in managing projects by obtaining a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2012. He has worked several years on high profile projects within Switzerland and has consequently a good understanding of both the local and national market.

His is a native Dutch speaker and also speaks in English, French, German as well as Spanish. He’s always on the lookout to apply the latest in technological advancement within the industry to current projects.

Besides from being a certified scuba-diver he enjoys a good game of golf or can be found in his kitchen cooking up some new dishes with a good glass of wine.

Linda Papasidero Consultant at Lausanne Hospitality Consulting SA

Prior to joining LHC in August 2009, she handled several project development portfolios in international cooperation and executive education for the city of Lausanne. She then joined EHL in the Academic Department where she coordinated communication and academic advice activities.

Her responsibilities at LHC include the quality maintenance of EHL certified schools through marketing and academic consulting support, development of learning centres around the world and delivery of executive education courses.

Linda holds a Master of Arts, International Relations, from the Graduate Institute of International Studies, Geneva and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from HEC Lausanne.

Though she grew up in Lausanne, Linda has Mediterranean blood as she is originally from Spain and Italy. Thanks to her cultural diversity and interest in languages, she speaks French, Italian, Spanish, English and basic German. She is currently learning Arabic.

After work and during weekends, she practices martial arts, snowboarding, roller skating and taking long walks in the forest. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially around good food and extra-large servings of chocolate desserts!

Abhishek Jakate Consultant at Lausanne Hospitality Consulting SA

Abhishek joined as an Associate in June 2014. His role involves working in management consulting and supporting the executive education and development of learning centers.

Prior to joining LHC, Abhishek worked in Saas-Fee, Switzerland as a Financial Controller for a private hotel company, where he was responsible for the financials and assisted the general manager in operations. He was part of the team that took the company through the restructuring period after the addition of two new hotels with different ownership structures. In South Africa, he gained experience in operational restructuring at a luxury boutique property re-opened after extensive renovations.

An alumnus of the Ecole Hoteliére Lausanne graduating in 2012, Abhishek speaks English, German, Marathi and Hindi and is currently working on improving his skills in French.

While not at work, you will find Abhishek catching up on reading, enjoying good food and wine and working out in the gym.

Jens-Henning Peters Consultant at Lausanne Hospitality Consulting SA

Jens-Henning’s role at LHC involves the development of learning centres around the world, advisory for the hospitality and service industry, as well as the creation and implementation of new services and products for the company. He has joined LHC in 2015.

Next to a Bachelor Degree in International Hospitality Management from the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), Jens-Henning also holds a Diploma as Hotelkaufmann (Management Assistant in Hotel and Hospitality) from the German chamber of industry and commerce.

Growing up in a family of restaurateurs, Jens-Henning has worked in various positions for leading hotels, restaurant and catering companies in Germany, Switzerland and Denmark, building a solid understanding of the operations in luxury hospitality organizations.

While studying at EHL and throughout industry internships he has acquired various experience in consulting projects. Bringing his entrepreneurial spirit to work, Jens-Henning has helped clients to reposition their portfolio, developed hotel and F&B concepts and held workshops and courses for various topics. His mother tongue is German, he speaks English fluently and is currently studying for his working proficiency in French.

When not at LHC, he enjoys riding his motorcycle and taking photographs. Jens-Henning is a passionate cook, always trying out new recipes he discovers on his travels.

Feng Guo Consultant at Lausanne Hospitality Consulting China

Feng GUO was actively involved in many activities that improved the opportunities for young talents to progress within the hospitality industry. He joined LHC at 2015 to fulfill his dream in consulting industry and is currently in charge of supporting and coordinating the overall development of LHC China.

Feng GUO started his career from 2012 as a Shangri-La’s Corporate Trainee (in Revenue Management) based in China World Hotel, Beijing. He had collected extensive knowledge and skills in Positioning, Data Analysis and Forecast, and Non-Traditional Application of Revenue Management during this period till the end of 2013. After that he was invited to join Sales Team of China World Hotel and had won the Shangri-La’s Sales Excellence in consecutive 3 quarters while managing and developing international corporate accounts.

He holds a certification of Revenue Management from Cornell and a bachelor degree in Beijing Hospitality Institute (certificated school of EHL).

Philosophy and music could always bring him great pleasure, as well as reading books and exercising in the gym.

Catherine Rey-Torres Sales & Marketing Manager at Lausanne Hospitality Consulting SA

Catherine joined LHC as Sales & Marketing Manager in December 2015. Her role involves developing and implementing the LHC’s Sales & Marketing plan and promote the Executive Education career development programmes around the globe.

Prior to LHC, she worked in the International Education industry for over 5 years both in Mexico and Switzerland, where she moved with her family in 2013. She represented in Latin America prestigious wine and spirit brands within the Hospitality industry for over 10 years. She worked closely with International Hotels, government institutions and corporate executives and multinationals and had to support them in the international implementation of their educational projects.

She is a graduate in International Business from the University of Blaise-Pascal in Clermont-Ferrand France and spent her last year of study in the University of Oklahoma Price College of Business USA. She followed several wine and spirit training both in France and Mexico. She lived in 5 different countries and enjoy multicultural environments where relationships, new ideas, innovation and original concepts are valued. She appreciates being challenged and strongly believe in enhancing the customer experience to growing the business.

While not at work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband and go for long walks by the lake. She is passionate about wine and like to organize tastings of wines from different regions and countries for her family and friends.

Christine Moscioni Office Manager at Lausanne Hospitality Consulting SA

Christine is the Office Manager of Lausanne Hospitality Consulting S.A. Her role consists of ensuring a smooth run of the Office and the general administration.

Prior to joining the LHC team in September 2013, Christine held several positions as Executive Assistant in international companies, namely in the hospitality and education industry. She also worked at Ecole hoteliere de Lausanne between 2000 and 2008 as assistant to the General Director.

Native from Italy, Christine speaks French, English and of course Italian. When not in the office, Christine spends time with her family and friends. Cooking, biking, and painting are some of the many activities Christine enjoys.

LHC Paola Bellia

Paola Bellia Associate at Lausanne Hospitality Consulting SA

An alumna of the École hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), Paola joined LHC as Associate upon completion of the Bachelor degree in International Hospitality Management. Her role involves supporting the development of hospitality learning centers and the delivery of executive education courses and consulting activities.

Her career started in 2008 and ever since she has gained extensive experience in the Food & Beverage industry, holding both managerial and non-managerial positions in Italy, Switzerland and United Kingdom. Entrepreneur at heart and extremely passionate about innovation, Paola has also worked in other sectors including Information Technology, Marketing and Healthcare.

Currently fulfilling her dream of learning Spanish, she speaks Italian, English and French.

When not at work, Paola spends most of her time cooking, reading and practicing kick-boxing. She is also extremely attached to her family and friends back home and every day devotes some time to get updated on their lives.

Manon Maréchal

Manon Marechal Associate at Lausanne Hospitality Consulting SA

Manon joined LHC as an associate after graduating from Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne. Her role at LHC involves working on a variety of projects for executive education and consulting. She is also responsible for promoting the Executive Education Career Development Programmes around the globe.

Prior to joining LHC, Manon broadend her experience in hospitality while working in various positions in restaurants and luxurious hotels in Italy and Switzerland. She also gained experience in working for a luxury brand in Geneva where she developed her e-commerce and e-marketing skills.

Manon has Italian and Swiss origins and speaks French, Italian, English and Spanish.

When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially around a good “apéro”. She is very active and loves going for a long run in the countryside.

Yinan Zhang Associate at Lausanne Hospitality Consulting

After receiving her Master degree in Hospitality Asset Management in Chinese University of Hong Kong, Yinan joined Lausanne Hospitality Consulting as an Associate, performing various duties including supporting and coordinating the overall development of LHC China.

Possessing great passion towards hospitality industry, Yinan has developed and deepened understanding about the industry through her advanced study in the academic institution as well as the working experience. Prior to joining LHC, Yinan collected extensive experience in Food and Beverage (The Westin Beijing Financial Street) and Human Resource (The Ritz-Carlton Beijing, Financial Street) as Management Trainee in terms of customer service and organizational capabilities.

Yinan also holds an honor Bachelor degree in Communications in Boston College, USA and did an exchange program with Science Po in Paris, France. She is a native Chinese and speaks fluent English, intermediate French and Cantonese. While not working, Yinan likes to spend her time with friends and family hiking and traveling. She is also a big fan of art museums and beautiful parks.

Sarah Van Gyseghem Administrative Office Coordinator at Lausanne Hospitality Consulting SA

Sarah is the Administrative Office Coordinator for the Development of Learning Centers. Her role consists of ensuring a smooth run of the office and the general administration.

Prior to joining the LHC team in September 2016, Sarah finished her business administrations apprenticeship in August 2014. She worked for an international pharmaceutical company in administrative roles.

Born in Belgium, Sarah lives in Switzerland since she is 7 years old. During her free time, she likes going to the gym and taking care of herself. She also enjoys to spending time with her family and friends.
